Apex SEO (“the App”, “we”, “us”) provides SEO optimization tools for Shopify merchants, including image optimization, product SEO editing, and performance insights.

When you install Apex SEO, we access certain Shopify store data through the Shopify API, including:
Product information (titles, descriptions, images)
Image metadata (file size, alt text)
SEO-related metafields
Store configuration required to provide app features
We only access data that is necessary to provide the app’s functionality.
How We Use Data
We use store data solely to:
Optimize product images and image sizes
Edit and improve product SEO metadata
Display analytics and optimization progress inside the app
We do not sell, rent, or share merchant data with third parties.
Data Storage
Optimized settings and metadata may be stored securely as Shopify metafields or within our application infrastructure. No customer personal data is stored outside Shopify.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect merchant data and restrict access to authorized systems only.
Data Retention & Deletion
If you uninstall Apex SEO, the app will no longer access your store data.
You may request data deletion at any time by contacting us.
